The San Antonio ACI Chapter provides funding for Civil Engineering students at UTSA and for Concrete Industry Management and Civil Engineering students at Texas State University. This scholarship is is intended to help meet some of the financial needs of students looking to make a career in the field of civil engineering and concrete industry management. Each scholarship is valued at a minimum of $2000 but depending on the number of applicants, this amount may increase.
Based on the number of applicants, an interview may be required prior to awarding the scholarships. The number of scholarships being awarded depends on the number of applicants since the San Antonio ACI Chapter tries to help as many students as possible with the funds set aside for the scholarship.
The San Antonio ACI Chapter has minimum requirements to meet the scholarship qualifications but will consider every application received even if the minimum requirements are not met in their entirety. We encourage every student to apply for this scholarship regardless if you feel like you do not quite meet the requirements.
